Lazaros Vardakis, psychologist: an accessible website built from scratch, with our logo and copy

The client

Lazaros Vardakis is a psychologist and psychotherapist based at Ermou 18 in central Thessaloniki. He works with Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), and his sessions take place at his office, online or at home.

It was a new project in which we took on the website build, the logo, the copy, hosting and technical support.

Logo design

We started with the logo. The aim was a mark that suits a mental health professional, calm and serious, and that sets the tone for the website. The same aesthetic carried over into the website design, so the logo and the site speak the same language.

Website copy

We wrote the website copy with one goal: it should sound like a professional speaking respectfully to the reader, not like an advert. It presents Cognitive Analytic Therapy in plain words and explains the session options (office, online or at home), with discretion and without promising outcomes.

Accessibility by design

Accessibility was not bolted on at the end. The website has a built-in accessibility panel, which lets visitors adapt the display to their needs, and its own accessibility statement. For a mental health professional this is more than a technical detail. It means the first contact with the therapist is welcoming for everyone.

The outcome

Lazaros Vardakis now has his own logo, copy that explains his work in plain words, and a bilingual website that respects its visitors' privacy and accessibility, hosted and supported by us.

It is a good example for any health professional in Thessaloniki who needs a website, a logo and copy together.
