Lobelia Luxury Suites: website and SEO for a 4-star hotel in Thassos
Lobelia Luxury Suites is a 4-star hotel in Golden Beach (Chrysi Ammoudia), Thassos, with 7 apartments and 10 suites. We built its website, host it on our servers, run its SEO and provide technical support. Bookings are completed in the hotel's own booking engine, which the website links into.
I want something similar →The client
Lobelia Luxury Suites is a 4-star hotel in Golden Beach on the island of Thassos. It offers two kinds of stay, 7 apartments and 10 suites, so within a single season it serves guests with quite different needs. The website speaks first to travellers from abroad, which is why English is its primary language, with versions in other languages alongside.
Our work with Lobelia covers four things: building the website, SEO, hosting on our servers and technical support. We did not build the booking system. It is the booking engine the hotel already uses, and our job is to make sure the website gets the visitor there without friction.
What the website had to solve
A hotel with 17 units across two categories has specific needs. These were the main ones.
- Two kinds of stay, one decision. Visitors need to understand quickly whether they want an apartment or a suite before they press "Book now". If they get confused, they go back to the booking platform, where everything sits in one list.
- Language and audience. The content speaks first to the international traveller, with versions in other languages. Each language version has to be set up correctly for Google so each user lands on their own.
- Visibility against the platforms. In a holiday destination, the big booking platforms compete for the same searches as the hotel itself, including searches for the hotel's own name.
- Direct booking. Every booking made on the hotel's own site carries no intermediary commission. The path from the room presentation to the booking engine has to be short and obvious.
- Stability in season. In summer there is no room for a site that is slow or down. That takes hosting and support from people who pick up the phone.
What we did
Website, SEO, hosting and support from one team, so the hotel has a single partner for everything to do with its site.
A hotel website that hands off to the booking engine
We designed and built lobelia-suites.com around the two questions every visitor has: what kind of stay does this hotel offer, and how do I book it? The apartments and suites are presented through their photography, the booking button stays in plain sight and contact is always one click away.
"Book now" leads to the booking engine the hotel uses, where guests see availability and rates and complete their booking directly. If you want to know how that path is designed, see our page on direct bookings.

SEO for a hotel in Golden Beach
Lobelia's SEO starts with the technical layer: proper titles and descriptions on every page, a clean structure, fast loading and correct indexing. On top of that we work on the searches travellers make when looking for a place to stay in Golden Beach and on Thassos, and on searches for the hotel's name, where the official site should appear ahead of the platforms.
It is the same framework we describe in our SEO service, adapted to the booking cycle of a seasonal hotel.

Web hosting and technical support
The site is hosted on our own infrastructure and its technical support is in our hands. For a hotel, that means one team is responsible for the website during the months that matter, when guests are comparing options and making up their minds.
Through our technical support we take care of updates, changes to copy and photos, new pages and whatever needs doing before the season opens. The hotel has one point of contact for the site, the SEO and the server.

Where the hotel stands today
Lobelia Luxury Suites has a website that presents its two kinds of stay clearly, speaks first to international guests and sends them to the hotel's booking engine to book direct. Underneath sits a technical foundation for SEO, hosting on our servers and support from the team that built the site.
We do not publish booking or traffic figures for this project. What it shows is how to set up the website of a 4-star hotel with two unit categories so that visitors reach the hotel's booking engine easily. If you run a hotel or holiday property, see all our services for hotels. For another property on Thassos, see the Moderi Suites case study.
