MBS My Business School: website and SEO for a vocational school in Rethymno
MBS My Business School (a private vocational training institute, Ι.ΣΑΕΚ Ρεθύμνου) trains students in Rethymno, Crete, in fields such as gastronomy, health, tourism and beauty. We built its website, host and support it and run its SEO, and we previously ran Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns for it.
I want something similar →The client
MBS My Business School is a private vocational training institute in Rethymno. It offers programmes across several professional fields, from gastronomy and health professions to tourism and beauty. Alongside the vocational programmes it runs a Lifelong Learning Centre aimed at adults and working professionals.
For an educational institution, the website is not just a source of information. It is where the prospective student, and often their family, compares, decides and makes the first contact.
The challenge
A school with many programmes and two different audiences has one core problem: how does each person quickly find what is relevant to them, and how does that interest reach the admissions office?
- Many programmes, one visitor. Someone interested in cookery does not want to dig through health programmes. Studies had to be grouped by field, with a dedicated page for every programme.
- From curiosity to contact. Prospective students rarely decide on the first visit. They need a simple way to register interest so the school can follow up.
- Two audiences on one site. Vocational programmes and lifelong learning speak to different people with different questions.
- Local search. Choosing a vocational school is usually a local decision. The school has to show up when someone looks for vocational training or specific programmes in Rethymno and across Crete.
What we did
A website organised around the programmes, with "I'm interested" as the central step, and the channels that bring prospective students to it.
A website organised by programme
We built mbs.com.gr with the programmes at its centre. Visitors see the fields of study, go into the one they care about and from there to the programme page. The Lifelong Learning Centre has its own section, so an adult looking for a seminar does not have to wade through pages that are not meant for them.
Every programme carries one clear call to action, the «Ενδιαφέρομαι» ("I'm interested") button. Prospective students never have to wonder what to do next: they see the programme and the next step towards contacting the school is right in front of them.

SEO for studying in Rethymno
MBS's SEO works on two levels. The first is local SEO, so the school appears in searches for vocational training in Rethymno. The second is the programme pages, each with its own search intent, because someone looking to study cookery or beauty therapy types something very specific into Google.
The programme-by-programme structure described above helps exactly with that: every page has one clear topic and can stand on its own in the results. More on this in our SEO service.

Past Google & Meta Ads campaigns
We previously ran Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns for MBS. The Google Ads campaigns targeted people actively searching for studies, and the Meta Ads campaigns targeted an audience on Facebook and Instagram. The logic was simple: advertising makes sense when the visitor lands on a page that leads to contact with the school, not just another visit.
The website is hosted on our servers, and our technical support covers updates, new programmes, seminars and announcements.

Where the school stands today
MBS has a website where every programme has its own page and every page ends in the «Ενδιαφέρομαι» call to action. The Lifelong Learning Centre has its own place for its own audience, and hosting, support and SEO are handled by the same team.
We do not publish enquiry or enrolment figures for this project. What the work for MBS shows is how to set up the website of an educational institution so every page leads the visitor towards contacting the school. For a different school in the same town, teaching languages and computer skills, see the MyLexicon case study.
