Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who We Are — Data Controller

The data controller is ASLANIDIS AND. IRAKLIS — Qbrains Interactive, 4 Parmenidou St., Ano Toumpa, Thessaloniki 543 52, Greece. Website: https://qbrains.gr · Tel. +30 2312 315318 · [email protected]. Since 2000 we have been building websites and providing comprehensive digital marketing services.

2. What Personal Data We Collect & Why

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the data provided in the comment form, your IP address and browser details, in order to combat spam. An anonymised string (hash) of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. After approval, your profile picture is displayed publicly alongside your comment.

Dynamic forms (e-books, Free SEO Audit, newsletter)

To give you access to guides/e-books through our Digital Library, or for the Free SEO Audit, we ask for details such as first name, last name, company name, phone number, email, website, job title/role, and a personal comment. You may also optionally, with your full consent, choose to receive material and news to your email.

Contact & enquiry forms

Through our contact, quote request or appointment forms, we collect the information you provide, exclusively for the purposes of communication and serving you.

3. Cookies & Tracking Tools

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help the website function properly. They do not cause harm. When leaving a comment, a required cookie stores your name/email/website for convenience (duration ~1 year).

We also use third-party cookies: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Analytics & Remarketing, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are only activated after your consent via Google Consent Mode v2. You can change your preferences at any time from the cookie settings icon in the bottom left corner.

You can opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/ — and you can also review/delete cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). Read the third-party policies: Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Meta (facebook.com/legal), HubSpot (legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy).

4. Embedded Content from Other Sites

Our articles may embed content from third parties (e.g. YouTube videos). These websites may collect data through cookies, under their own responsibility and terms of use.

5. Who We Share Data With

Qbrains does not sell the personal data we collect from forms or comments and does not share it with third parties, with the single exception of ad measurement described right below. Visit statistics are not personalised, and we do not send your IP or personal data hashes to Google Analytics. Third-party services (Google, Meta, HubSpot) may process data under their own terms.

Ad measurement. If you have accepted marketing cookies and you send a form or make a purchase, we send Google (Google Ads, enhanced conversions) and Meta (Conversions API) your email and, if you gave it, your phone number in hashed form (SHA-256). Meta also receives your IP address and browser type. They use it only to measure whether one of our ads led to an enquiry or a purchase. We do not send your message or any other form field. Without that consent none of this is sent, and you can withdraw it at any time from the cookie settings.

AI assistant. When you write to the AI assistant on the site, the conversation is stored and deleted automatically 30 days after the last message. To answer you, your message is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google), which processes it only to produce the reply. If you type an email or phone number in the chat, the conversation is recorded as a contact request and our team will get back to you. Please do not type sensitive personal data, such as health information, in the chat.

6. International Transfers

Certain providers may process data outside the EEA, with appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. How Long We Retain Data

Comments and list subscriptions (Digital Library, news/announcements, Free SEO Audit) are retained for as long as we maintain the respective database, unless you request deletion. We do not collect any personal data beyond what is described above.

8. Your Rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected], provided we are not legally, administratively or for security reasons required to retain it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

9. Security

Where personal data is entered, transmission is encrypted via an SSL security certificate (2048-bit). Sensitive information (passwords, email accounts) is stored in encrypted (hashed) form.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always published here with an update date.
