Geoprostasia: an agricultural supplies eShop with thousands of SKUs that we built, promote and host
Geoprostasia sells crop protection products, irrigation equipment, garden tools and winemaking supplies, with stores in Kilkis and Thessaloniki. We built the e-geoprostasia.gr eShop on WooCommerce, set up its product XML feeds, run its Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, work on its SEO and take care of hosting and technical support.
I want something similar →The client
Geoprostasia is an agricultural supplies retailer with physical stores in Kilkis and Thessaloniki, in northern Greece, and an online store, e-geoprostasia.gr. Its range covers pesticides and crop protection, irrigation, garden tools and equipment, and winemaking products. It serves two kinds of customer: the individual looking after a garden or a field, and the professional who buys wholesale and can register for the B2B section of the site.
What the project needed
An agricultural supplies eShop is not a typical retail store. Buyers often know exactly what they want, compare prices across several shops and buy with the seasons. These were the main requirements.
- A large catalogue that is easy to search. With more than 4,500 SKUs, the category structure and search had to get visitors to the right product quickly.
- Retail and wholesale together. Trade customers need their own path, without complicating the experience for consumers.
- Presence where comparison happens. Many purchases start on a price comparison site, so the catalogue had to reach those platforms accurately and up to date.
- A steady flow of visitors. Organic visibility on Google and paid advertising working together, rather than one replacing the other.
- One partner for everything. Build, advertising, SEO, hosting and support from the same team, so every change goes through one place.
What we did
Seven services in one project, from the first product in the catalogue to the campaign that brings in the buyer.
eShop development on WooCommerce
We built e-geoprostasia.gr on WordPress and WooCommerce, with categories that follow the way people shop at an agricultural supplies store. Crop protection, irrigation, garden tools and winemaking each have their own path, so visitors get to the product they need quickly.
The store handles both retail and wholesale. Right from the top bar, professionals are invited to register for B2B, while consumers carry on shopping as usual. The whole eShop is responsive and comfortable to use on a phone.

XML feeds, Google Ads & Meta Ads
With a catalogue of thousands of SKUs, updating prices and stock by hand on third-party platforms is not an option. We set up the product XML feeds so the catalogue automatically feeds price comparison platforms and shopping channels such as BestPrice.gr, where Geoprostasia is listed.
Alongside the feeds we run the Google Ads campaigns, which reach buyers at the moment they search for a specific product, and the Meta Ads campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, which keep the store in front of its audience through the season. Feeds and ads both rely on the same eShop catalogue, so everything starts from one source.

SEO for a large-catalogue eShop
In a store with thousands of product pages, SEO starts with structure. We work on categories, titles and descriptions, internal linking and the technical health of the site, so Google understands what the store sells and shows it to the people looking for it. Organic traffic and advertising complement each other. One builds lasting visibility, the other covers the seasonal peaks.

Web hosting & technical support
The eShop is hosted on our own infrastructure and its technical support is in our hands. That way the store, the catalogue and the feeds that external platforms read are all looked after by the same team.
Through technical support we handle WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates, the changes the store needs and the quick fix of any issue. The Geoprostasia team looks after its customers, and we look after the technology.

The outcome
Geoprostasia now has an eShop with more than 4,500 SKUs that sells to consumers and professionals from one platform and appears where buyers compare, on price comparison platforms such as BestPrice.gr. The build, the feeds, the campaigns, SEO, hosting and support are all in one pair of hands.
In practice, a new product or a price change flows from the eShop into the feeds and from there into the ads without duplicate work, and when something needs fixing there is one point of contact that knows the whole system. We apply the same approach to Strati's flooring eShop.
