CarpetBook: from supplier chaos to a fully automated eShop
We completely rebuilt the CarpetBook online store for textiles & rugs on WooCommerce, automating the entire product flow from 10 different suppliers all the way to Skroutz and BestPrice.

Automation freed up time & boosted sales.
The challenge
CarpetBook was managing thousands of SKUs from ten different suppliers, each with its own data format, pricing, and stock levels. Updates were handled manually — a time-consuming, error-prone process that was impossible to scale.
At the same time, the feeds to Skroutz and BestPrice were unreliable, resulting in incorrect prices, out-of-stock products, and lost sales.
The strategy
We redesigned the entire eShop on WooCommerce, with a clean category structure and product architecture optimised for both the user experience and SEO. Our goal was the complete elimination of manual work.
We built an automated pipeline that pulls data from all 10 suppliers, unifies it, cleans it, maps categories & attributes, and automatically updates prices and stock levels in the store.
The implementation
We created custom imports for each supplier, with quality checks to ensure that incorrect or incomplete data never goes live. We set up reliable, stable XML feed generation processes for Skroutz and BestPrice, with proper field mapping and rules to prevent rejections and pricing errors.
In addition, we developed our own Skroutz Cart plugin, which connects the Skroutz shopping cart directly to WooCommerce, ensuring a smooth checkout flow and accurate order tracking. We added automations for order management, stock notifications, and status synchronisation, dramatically reducing the time the team spent on repetitive tasks.
The results
Alongside the rebuild, we also run the eShop's Google Ads campaigns, Shopping and search ads that reach customers the moment they search for rugs, with measurable ROAS. The new CarpetBook essentially runs itself: products from all 10 suppliers are updated automatically, the marketplace feeds are stable and reliable, and manual entries have dropped to zero.
The store's team was freed from hours of tedious work and now focuses on sales and customer service — with orders following a consistently upward trajectory since the rebuild. For another eShop rebuild, see the Homewear.gr case study.
