Dromos 105.4 FM, a Chania radio station with a website that never stops playing
Dromos 105.4 plays the biggest Greek hits around the clock, for the whole of Chania. We built its website in custom code, with a bold design, a StreamWithQ live stream that keeps playing across the whole site, and installation on the phone like an app (PWA). We also look after its hosting and support.

Dromos 105.4 FM is a station of the city of Chania. It plays the most loved voices and the biggest Greek hits, on FM for Chania and online for anyone who is far away.
For a station like this the website has to have character, feel like radio at first glance and do one thing extremely well. Play.

Website, app, streaming, hosting and support, from one team.
A website with a voice
Yellow, black and big letters. The website leans on typography and on the station's frequency, with "105,4" filling the screen and the slogan "Find your road" scrolling like a ticker. Visitors know straight away they are on a radio station, not on yet another corporate page.
The station page says in a few words who Dromos is, and the studio phone number is always one tap away for anyone who wants to request a song.
The stream keeps going while you read
The live player stays at the bottom of the screen on every page. Listeners press play, open the news, read an article, and the music never cuts out.
In the news the station presents the new releases that join its playlist, numbered, dated and with video. The same news is also published as an RSS feed, for anyone who wants to follow it from another app.
Dromos on the phone's home screen
The site is a PWA. Listeners put Dromos on their phone's home screen and open it with one tap, without going through the App Store or Google Play. On the phone the player stays at the bottom, just like on the desktop.
Streaming, hosting and support
The station's live stream comes from StreamWithQ, our radio streaming business unit, where more than 100 radio stations rely on us for their streaming every day. The website is hosted on our own infrastructure through Qbrains web hosting, and we also provide its technical support.

The result
Dromos 105.4 now has a website that looks like the station itself, plays without interruption on every page and installs on the phone like an app. Website, streaming, hosting and support all sit with the same team.
